Showered with Love

I am so unbelievably grateful for my wonderful cousin Leah and my aunt Helen. They seriously are some incredible people. They each threw me the most beautiful baby showers in the world and they put so much work into making them beautiful, fun and memorable. I feel so lucky to have such wonderful family members and to have married into such an amazing family.

I felt soooo "showered" with love with all of their preparation and the gifts that everyone brought for our sweet baby boy!! I cannot believe that in 3 weeks, give or take, we will have a little baby boy! Hopefully we will have a name by that point, but we are SO excited and are counting down the days!! While I feel super overwhelmed with this whole "being a mom" thing, I know that the lord will bless me and help me be capable! That seems to be what happens a lot during this life, when I feel overwhelmed and incapable, and the situation presents itself and I have to decide to sink or swim, I feel safe in the knowledge that I  have a life guard in Christ that can lead me to show me the way :)

I AM SO EXCITED TO BE A MOM!
& I know one thing for sure, this baby is going to be spoiled beyond belief! I am so excited that we have SO much family surrounding us because there is so much love that he will receive!! Welp, the countdown has started, its going to be here in no time!! WOOT WOOT!

These pictures are from the BEAUTIFUL shower that Leah threw for our little man!

These pictures are from the GORGEOUS shower Helen threw for us!

& to end, just thought I would leave you with this great image of a pregnant woman eating. Sadly, most pictures consisted of me with food in my mouth. hahaha but for the record, the food was DELICIOUS!

Jacob's Mission Call

I am so overjoyed for my little brother right now!! He has decided to serve a mission for our church this august and yesterday he found out where he will be going!

We were all SO FULL with anticipation as he opened his call, and were so shocked when it said Barcelona, Spain!! That is the exact mission Jared (our other brother) served in! I think we are all a little comforted knowing he will be going somewhere we are all familiar with, especially my mom ;)

Excitement doesn't seem to qualify as an appropriate word to even show what I am feeling, but for lack of a better word, I am so excited, thrilled, overjoyed, and full of love at this moment!

(I need to add the rest of the pictures, so more will be added later)

Baby Cub's Senior Night

I really can not believe my little brother is a senior! During the Spring for the past 4 years, I have spent my afternoons at his baseball games. He plays catcher and there is nothing more fun than going to his games, where 12 family members in attendance is the norm! ;)

Next year will be very different without his baseball games. I am sure I will be busy with an almost one year old by then, but I know I will feel a gap in my life without going to his games. He will be on a 2 year mission for our church as well and its hard to imagine life with Jacob not living down the street form us. I am so proud to be his sister and to be able to watch him grow as he makes these awesome decisions these next few years. But in the meantime, I am ready to cheer on #18 in his next few games, where they have a shot at winning region. :)

Savannah & Tybee Island

For Spring Break we went to Tybee Island and to Savannah, GA. It was so much fun. We spent so much time with family and with friends. We went to lighthouses (pictured below by a pyramid of people instead of light house :) and we went kayaking to little Tybee Island. My favorite part was kayaking because dolphins surrounded us and it was just magical! Lots of laughs and gorgeous sunrises.

This trip I managed to down at least 3 XL bags of salt and vinegar chips, had cinnamon rolls EVERY morning, and found ice cream whenever feasible. Yep. This trip was definitely a success. :)

Coming September 2016

We are pretty excited that we will be welcoming a little one into our lives this September! While Christopher seems to be strong and not scared at all, I am pretty terrified! However, I am so excited for this next adventure in our life!
